James Hitchcock, DO, is a board-certified family medicine physician who sees pediatric (5 years and older) and adult patients. Dr. Hitchcock provides annual wellness exams, vaccinations and school and sports physicals. He manages acute illnesses such as colds, flu, infections, allergies, back pain, asthma, and chronic conditions, including high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, high cholesterol, and joint pain. Dr. Hitchcock enjoys collaborating with his patients, providing them with the care and assistance necessary to enhance their overall health. He finds it rewarding to provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, often caring for all members of a family. Dr. Hitchcock grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and served on active duty in the US Air Force for 11 years. He enjoys weekends with his family and stays involved with their church. Dr. Hitchcock earned his medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed his family medicine residency at the University of Nebraska and Ehrling-Bergquist Hospital, Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, Nebraska.
