Amanda Garth, FNP-BC, is a board certified family nurse practitioner. She completed her undergraduate degree at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and completed her master's degree at Maryville University in St. Louis. Since 2013, Amanda has been a practicing nurse with SSM Health, where she has focused on general surgery and complex surgery, orthopedics, bariatrics and family medicine. She is a member of the American Nurse Association and Missouri Nurses Association. "Family practice is a way for me to provide care to patients of all ages and their families. As a nurse practitioner specializing in family medicine, my goal with each patient through collaboration with them and their physician is to develop an individualized treatment plan that will promote healing, health maintenance, and a healthy lifestyle."
