Willow Drive Baptist Church

200 Willow Drive
979-297-4079

The diversity of Willow is evident in our demographics, beliefs and practices. The church is made up of all ages. There are those who have been a part of Willow since its founding in 1958 and others who have recently joined. Though we are conservative in our beliefs, we encourage the use of all spiritual gifts and believe women can serve in leadership positions within the body. We also pray for the sick and those being oppressed by Satan. As far as practices, we have different types of: worship services, Adult Bible Fellowships, home groups, children's and youth small groups, and much more.

Willow strives to be a place where the hurting and broken can receive healing and restoration. The congregation is accepting of those who struggle with sin issues. The membership of Willow realizes that people aren’t perfect and there is always hope, even for those who are furthest from God. Our desire is to, “preach good news to the poor . . . proclaim freedom for the prisoners, and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”

Purpose

The purpose of Willow Drive Baptist Church is to glorify God by making mature disciples who exalt the Savior, evangelize the lost, and encourage one another in their homes, community and the world.
