About Us

Whitingham Elementary School is nestled in the hills of the Green Mountains and is located in Jacksonville, Vermont.

The elementary consists of pre school through 5th grade and many of our classes are taught in a multi-age environment. There is a strong volunteer program in environmental sciences through our ELF program. Students have access to an after school program, through a federal 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant, WINGS.

This program provides optional tutoring and homework support, special interest clubs and some adult education classes with parental support during evening hours. Education at Whitingham encompasses the entire community, as its mission statement "Education For Life" suggests.
