The foundation for our belief is the Bible, God’s word to His people, uniquely inspired by Him. It is without error, and holds the final authority over all matters on which it bears. As taught in the Bible, there is one God, existing eternally in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - each possessing all the attributes of deity.

God created humans to have a relationship with Him, but through sin they turned away from God and chose their own path. As a result, Man separated Himself eternally from God, dying spiritually. Only God’s grace - not human effort - can restore this relationship, thus bringing spiritual renewal and life. Personal repentance and faith are signs of our human acceptance of God’s grace.

Jesus Christ, the second Person of the Trinity, lived a sinless life on earth and chose to pay for our sin by dying on the cross as our substitute. All who receive God’s grace by trusting in Jesus alone receive salvation. He rose from the dead and is the only mediator between God and man. He will return to earth to judge all people. Only those trusting in Christ for salvation will enjoy eternal fellowship with God.

The Holy Spirit works to bring sinners to Christ and equips His people for both personal growth and service to the church. The role of God’s church is two-fold; to magnify our God and to obey God’s word in meeting the needs of all people.
