Started as a way for the owners of Waynetown businesses to promote the town and their businesses. Now it is a way for members of the community to help to make Waynetown a great place for families to live: a means for residents to get to know each other; a means for residents to contribute to and assist in money making endeavors so that the money may be used to help other clubs, organizations, businesses, etc. in the community such as the baseball teams, the youth groups, the Neighborhood Crime Watch, beautification of the community, etc. Projects that the association provides are the: Senior Valentine's Day Dinner, the children's Easter Egg Hunt, assists with building the ball diamond restrooms and other summer ball needs, the Fish Fry, Thanksgiving dinners, Christmas cheer plates, college scholarships, etc.
