As a program sponsored by the Friends of the Watauga County Branch Library in Sugar Grove, the Project has existed for four years offering support groups for caregivers of folks with dementia or other cognitive disorders and for patients diagnosed with cognitive disorders.  We offer electronic pets upon request for home bound patients with cognitive disorders, adopt a pet programs for care facilities with residents having cognitive disorders, educational programs about resources and strategies for caregiving for folks with cognitive disorders and cooperate with local agencies with compatible missions.
