We grow over 754 different varieties of vegetables; everything from roots to mesclun to winter squash. Using only on-farm compost. Everything is hand cultivated and hand harvested, using a minimum amount of fossil fuels. We grow according to the biodynamic calender. Market style CSA, where you choose what you want each week AND when to come in or if you want to skip that week!

Veritas Farms began as a heritage breed/grass fed/ organic feed meat establishment. Last season (2008) we had out first CSA and sold vegetables commercially. We strive to have a closed system. Solely using the compost that is produced from the farm as soil conditioners. Vegetables are grown and harvested following the biodynamic calender. Cultivation and planting is done by ; loads of greens, roots, different varieties of squash etc. We sell at the Woodstock and Bronxville farmers markets as well as a market at the farm Saturdays 3-6. The on-farm CSA is what we call a buying club. Its a market style, debit system. Members prices are lower then what we charge at farmers markets and and to non-members.
