About Us

Valley Baptist Church is fundamental and evangelical. That is, we hold to the fundamentals of the Christian faith as laid down by our Lord and His Apostles. Our faith and way of living is based entirely on the Bible, which we accept as the inerrant, infallible, and inspired Word of God.

Valley Baptist Church exists for a very specific purpose, one determined not by our congregation, our elder board or even by the Conservative Baptist Association of America, to which we belong. Our purpose has been given to us by our Lord. It is based on what He has revealed in His word, the Bible.

Having sought the Lord in prayer and having carefully studied the Bible, we have agreed upon the following as God's purpose for the existence of Valley Baptist Church:

Valley Baptist Church is a fellowship of believers in Jesus Christ called by God to love our Creator, our congregation and our community with all of our hearts. Everything we do in our personal lives or corporately as a church should reflect this purpose.
