Mission Statement:

Goals: 

1.Provide consistent quality TEKS based instruction and /or an alternative curriculum for all students, resulting in improved student achievement.

2.Provide a safe and nurturing environment for all students and staff.

3.Increase the district's graduation rate through the implementation of effective drop-out and instructional  interventions.

4.Increase participation in advanced academic courses with successful completion of advanced placement exams and increase the participation at SAT preparation opportunities, resulting in increased average  SAT/ACT scores.

5.Promote community partnerships and parental involvement.

6. Ensure that the distrcit is fiscally accountable and fiscally efficient, including a five percent reduction in the district's electricity consumption.

7.Implement initiatives to ensure employee recruitment, development and retention.
