History

Union Street Players (USP), Pella’s award winning community theater, began in 1987 and was incorporated as a non-profit organization in January, 1989. Since that time, USP has been dedicated to providing quality theatrical entertainment for Pella and our surrounding communities, and is proud to have been awarded the designation “Best Performing Group in Marion County” for several years  and has received several awards for outstanding performances by the Iowa Association of Community Theatres.
