Mission

"Making Christ Known" is the mission of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Here at Trinity we made that mission our own in saying we are called to Invite, Equip, Send.

Our outreach takes on many forms at Trinity. Regular contributions to the ELCA Benevolence Fund make it possible for Synod programs to flourish. World-wide missions are supported through clothing drives, the making of quilts, assembly of school and health kits and more. At the state level, Trinity provides aid for the poor and homeless through the Urban Immersion Service Retreat program in the Twin Cities, crews of Trinity workers are assembled when natural disasters occur in our region and support of many other agencies is also provided. And in our immediate area, Trinity is involved in the promotion and support of programs such as Rum River Interfaith Caregivers, Habitat for Humanity, Princeton Food Pantry, Camp and Retreat Scholarships, serving meals at both the Ronald McDonald house and Caring and Sharing Hands, as well as our local CROP Walk.

Mission is always at the forefront of our prayers and planning. When events such as the World Trade Center bombing occur, Trinity provides prayer services and special offerings; when seminary students need financial support, Trinity opens its pockets; when people receive the call to do mission trips, Trinity helps...

Working together in Christian love does accomplish many things.
