The Little Homestead

27948 South Highway 213
503-829-2008

The Little Homestead is a small farm in Mulino, Oregon.

The farm offers a CSA program which provides its members with fresh produce, herbs, fruits and berries. The farm also offers custom growing of emu, goat, lamb, broiler chickens, heritage breed chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, and guinea fowl.

The CSA shares are $10 small share, $20 large share. Each share contains 7-10 different items and are completely customizable, with members filling out a survey indicating their preferances in produce, herbs, eggs, etc.

The program is run on a pay as you go basis, but also allows members to pay by the month. Members may receive their shares on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.

For the 2011 season the farm will also offer custom growing of crops for restaurants and personal chefs, as well as vegetable plants, herbs and flowering plants in pots, tray packs and plug trays for gardeners and others.

Pay as you go CSA. Delivery can be scheduled for weekly or bi-weekly shares. Payment on delivery or on a monthly basis, by cash, check or Pay Pal.

Completely customizable based on subscriber survey, some free samples may be included in boxes from other farms, along with contact information for that farm. I occasionally use fruit that I pick at other farms the offer U-pick and will provide information on that farm so that members can go pick from those farms themselves. In 2010 I picked peaches at Rumpca Farm in Canby, OR as well as blue berries at Morning Shade Farm in Molalla.

The farm will also be offering custom growing of livestock and poultry for it's CSA members and other clients for the 2011 season - goat, lamb, rabbits, broiler chickens, heritage chickens (both hens and roosters), goose, turkey, guinea fowl.
