The Edge Sports Center was founded and is managed by Scott Fusco. Scott graduated from Harvard University in 1986 where he was a two time All-American hockey player, the career scoring leader, and the Hobey Baker award winner in that year. Scott was also was a member of the US Olympic Hockey Team in 1984 and 1988. Prior to starting the Edge Sports Center, Fusco was a founder and Sr. Vice President of Software Quality Partners, a large regional IT consulting company.

The ice rinks at the Edge Sports Center plays host to youth and adult teams from throughout New England. There are over 5,000 youth and adult hockey players that use the sports facility on a weekly basis during hockey season. In addition, many families utilize the ice skating rink for figure skating, learn to skate programs, public skating, and summer camps.

The major tenants in the hockey rink are the local programs of Lexington Bedford Youth Hockey, Bedford High School Hockey, Concord Carlisle High School Hockey, Lexington High School Hockey, and the East Coast Wizards youth hockey program, one of the largest and most prestigious youth hockey programs in the country. The East Coast Wizards Hockey alone is comprised of 850 players on 22 girls’ teams, 21 boys’ teams, a co-ed development program, and 3 adult hockey teams. The team range from age 4 through Juniors (under 20). The Edge Sports Center hosts a minimum of 750 youth hockey games, 600 adult hockey games and 60 high school hockey games per season. Visiting hockey teams come from area towns such as Lincoln, Newton, Sudbury, Wayland, Westford, Burlington, Woburn, Winchester, and Weston.

The Edge Sports Center Turf facility is comprised of two full size outdoor turf fields that are utilized by the soccer teams, lacrosse teams, field hockey teams, and baseball youth organizations in Bedford and the surrounding communities. The East Coast Wizard Field Hockey and Lacrosse clubs call the Edge their home. Also, several elite soccer clubs and lacrosse clubs make the Edge Sports Center their home field for athletic training and games. Major clubs include Global Premier Soccer, NEFC, and the NE Rush. The Edge Sports Center and indoor recreational facility also runs our own adult soccer leagues and has several other large adult and youth groups as customers. One of the turf fields is enclosed from November through March allowing for indoor winter training and winter sports league play for youth sports programs and adult teams year round. The Edge turf facility hosts over 125,000 youth players and over 50,000 adult athletes per year.
