The Borderline Folk Music Club

7 Elyise Road
845-354-4586

The Borderline Folk Music Club is the only not-for-profit venue in Rockland County that presents acoustic Roots Music including Folk & Bluegrass.  In addition to Rockland we have members from the metropolitan area and beyond who regularly attend our concerts. Our shows are presented in a relaxed, warm, & friendly, alcohol-free atmosphere; in small and intimate venues.  We schedule seven concerts a year plus an annual summer picnic in August. We book only the highest quality performing artists for our shows.  Most of our performers are well known in the world of Folk and Bluegrass  music, but we also have some singer/ song- writers who we feel are rising stars and deserve to be heard.

Besides entertainment, there is also an educational aspect to our work.  Roots music, commonly referred to as Folk music, is our window into the past and blends traditions for many cultures and nationalities.  Because of our informal structure, our audience can interact with the performers on a one-to-one basis. We keep the prices for our concerts at an affordable $20 per person. Membership in the club is $25 for an individual or $40 for a family, for one year.  Two-year membership is $40 for an individual or $60 for a family.  Members receive a $5 discount to all our concerts, as well as other benefits including free admission to jams and song circles that we sponsor during the year.
