About Us:

We believe in the worth of every person, and have faith in the power of love to overcome violence and injustice. We identify and respond to systemic abuses, civil and human rights violations, and systemic failures in the prison system and seek larger reform while aiding individual prisoners suffering mistreatment.

We are here to ensure that every Michigan prisoner is treated fairly and their voices are heard. We are a resource and advocate for prisoners, their loved ones and everyone who believes that the human rights of prisoners should be protected.

Finding your way in the prison system can seem overwhelming. It's a system with multiple layers of forms, regulations and reviews. Advocating for even basic needs of health, safety and fair treatment can take time. While it may not be easy to find justice within the prison system,it is attainable. With perseverance, change does come and a prisoner's living conditions can improve. Justice and fair treatment can be found. We're here to help you find it.
