The Sun Valley Mission

Sun Valley exists to assist believers in fulfilling the Great Commission through Great Commandment living. It exists to help those who don't yet believe to find a point of reference, from which they can understand the message, respond through faith and then become a committed follower of Christ with the view of developing others.

The word "move" means that there is a life-development process. It's not something that just occurs when you recognize Jesus as your savior. That's only the beginning. Personal discipline must be applied by the believer, in the context of a local body, for encouragement, reproof, correction and training in righteousness. "Discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness".

The words "each other" show that we believe God uses relationships to help us grow. Spiritual growth doesn't occur in a bubble. We need each other to grow.

Our desire at Sun Valley is that anyone anywhere along the process could come to Sun Valley and find the group, mentor, class or training needed to take them to the next level. Irreligious people, seekers, young believers, prodigals, mature believers, workers and leaders should each be given the opportunity to grow spiritually, socially, emotionally and intellectually.

Think of the process as a car assembly plant. At each point on the assembly line, the right piece needs to be put on at the right time. Some will start from scratch while others will simply need a wash every once in a while! Our goal is to move everyone, no matter where they are, toward the priorities and character of Jesus Christ.

Our Mission is Changed lives. Hope offered, minds opened and hearts softened. Perspective gained and peace restored. Truth presented, actions challenged, direction given, help found and lives changed. That is why we exist as a church„to share with people the life-transforming message of Jesus Christ.We desire to be a church that helps change the world one life at time.
