The Star City School District, which was established in 1918, is located in Lincoln County, a rural county in southeast Arkansas. Star City is the county seat of Lincoln County. The Star City School District is composed of approximately 310 square miles.  The district maintains three campuses: Jimmy Brown Elementary, grades K - 5; Star City Middle School, grades 6- 8; Star City High School, grades 9 - 12. Student enrollment is approximately 1,500. All schools are accredited by the state and the North Central Association.
