About Us:

Saint John’s Lutheran Church is located on the corner of Park & Holly Streets in Asheboro N.C. and was constructed in 1939. Saint John’s is a church family committed to the authority of the Bible as the inspired Word of God. In keeping with the Lutheran Confessions, we believe all doctrines should and must be judged by the teaching of Scripture. We are a church filled with wonderful parishioners and focused on family and spiritual growth.   

We have many programs and missions for both adults and children that promote fostering relationships and working together in our growth as Christians. You are welcome to visit us at any time. We have an education building that houses a nursery, choir room, and many class rooms for Bible studies

Saint John’s is grounded in the unique Gospel of Jesus Christ, animated by missions and evangelism, and rooted in the 2,000-year tradition of Christian faith. Yet it is also a renewed Lutheran community, moving forward in faith and focused on living out Christ’s Great Commission to go and make disciples in Asheboro, North Carolina, and around the globe.
