St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church

4718 Old Cherry Point Road
252-259-1413

"2000 years of unchanging Faith in a changing world" is our  commitment to our neighbors and the traditional Christian Church. We are a unique, vibrant and welcoming parish community with over 20 +year history of service to the community.  Our Mission at St. Bartholomew's  is to provide a spiritual home for all who seek to experience Christ through authenic traditional Anglican worship; by complying with the Great Commission;within a warm, open family atmosphere and lively faithful worship. We intend to transmit the same faith commanded in the Lord's Holy Word unimpaired to our posterity.

Our ways are ancient because the faith is unchanging. We stand on the Rock of our faith - the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ - in the midst of the turbulent sea of an ever-changing world. We offer you this firm foundation in order that you may know Him who is the Way, the Truth and the Life; and the peace of God which surpasses man's understanding. The Faith that produced the King James Bible, the classical Book of Common Prayer, much of Western Christendom's best music(Byrd, Purcell,T. Talis, J. Newton, Handel); the Faith of George Washington, Charles Dickens, Florence Nightingale, C.S. Lewis, Sir Isaac Newton, and T. S. Eliot lives on at St. Bartholomew's.  Biblical sermons every Sunday before Holy Communion which is the central focus of our prayer services.    Our Mission is "to follow Christ, to worship God every Sunday in his Church, and to work and pray and give for the spread of His Kingdom." .

Sunday services are at 10:00am. Special Advent and Lent services during the week. Call ahead please.
