The Church of Christ, which is presently known as Sixth Street, had its beginning in Friona in the early 1920’s with fewer then 20 members. Services were originally held in the high school building and later in the agriculture building. The first church building was erected at Sixth & Prospect in 1930.Today, the same loving atmosphere is present as it was in the 1920’s. We still teach God’s Word and we live our lives according to the truth.
