About Us:

Located in historic Sierra City, California, Sierra Skies RV Park is "the best little RV park in the west." Sierra Skies RV Park's five acres of property on the Yuba River is an ideal location for your next camping destination. You'll find a cozy, friendly park with majestic mountain views, shade trees, and the wild waters of the North Yuba River. Outdoor activities and relaxation await you in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

At Sierra Skies RV Park guests have an endless choice of activities. The Pacific Crest Trail offers many challenging trails and climbs for the avid hiker, as well as easier walks for a more peaceful stroll. At Sierra Skies RV Park, swimmers, fishermen, and boating enthusiasts have direct, private access to the Yuba River and beach area. Whether you're rafting, kayaking, or fly fishing, the Yuba River offers clear and sparkling waters. For the experienced and seasoned kayaker, the river can be challenging and adventurous with class 5 rapids and whitewater.

In addition to the Yuba River, the area offers nearly 50 picturesque lakes, all within 30 minutes from the park. Created by glaciers and filled by melted snow and natural springs, the lakes offer exceptional fishing. Fish species in the local waters include Eastern Brook, Mountain Brook, German, and Rainbow trout. Additional activities at Sierra Skies RV Park include biking, bird watching (as there is plenty of wildlife to see), and a unique activity to the area: gold panning and dredging. Experience what made the town of Sierra City and pan for gold. Beautiful nuggets have been found the last two years.

Sierra Skies RV Park offers a quiet, peaceful atmosphere while you relax or take part in the abundant recreational opportunities. Whether you want to take a picnic on a hike, explore the glistening banks of the Yuba, or breathe in the pine air as you take in the scenery and relax, Sierra Skies RV Park is an excellent choice for the camping family. Come rejuvenate your soul in the pristine Sierra Mountains.
