About Our School
The Lutheran Elementary School established and operated by Shepherd of the Valley Evangelical Lutheran Church is founded on the eternal truths as revealed in God's inerrant Word, the Holy Scriptures.
At our school we apply the truths of the Bible to the everyday lives of our students. In so doing, our teachers strive to use the words of 2 Corinthians 10:5 as their philosophy for instructing: We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
-Founded in 1980
-75 students in grades Pre-K – 8
-Four teachers teaching four multi-grade classrooms.
-Classes meet from 8:15 am - 3:15 PM each day.
-Kindergarten class is all day on Monday, Wednesday and Friday during the same hours.
-Pre-K meets Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00AM to 11:00AM or 12:00PM to 3:00PM.
