The purpose of Shelbyville Mills Baptist Church is to glorify God by obediently making and equipping disciples of Christ in the Bedford County area and throughout the world, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Shelbyville Mills Baptist Church is an autonomous Baptist church that has voluntarily chosen to be affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. Our allegiance, however, is to the Lord Jesus Christ and the sufficiency of the Word of God.
