Farming and Helping Others Farm. We are small family farm,where we grow vegetables, flowers and herbs for our use and for sale. Our plants are grown in a natural way, avoiding pesticides, as we strive to make our farm more sustainable. We have produce available at the East Atlanta Village Farmers Market, on Thursdays from 4pm to 8, May thru November . . We have a CSA , with full and 1/2 shares available. CSA members pickup on farm & ,at the EAV market on Thursdays. and on Sundays, at the First Existentialist Church on Sundays from 12:30 to 1:00pm. We also, offer tractor work,, compost, and advise to those interested in gardening and farming . Scharko Farm is also an active part of Georgia Organics and Slow Food Atlanta .

Each week members receive a box/bag of 8 to 12 items of produce from what is ready on our farm. . A sample late May bag could contain: sweet peas, arugula, kale, lettuce, green onions, carrots, beets, rosemary,. A mid summer bag could contain: green beans, squash, tomatoes, garlic, basil,dill, cucumbers, arugula, swiss chard,.
