Just as St. Joseph had a significant role in the life of Jesus Christ, St. Joseph Parish has played a significant role in the life of the Catholic Church in New Hampshire and the City of Manchester since 1869. We are grateful to the Lord for the many years of fruitful parish life that St. Joseph’s has had and continues to have today. Our mission is to offer and to celebrate the Sacraments to the faithful with reverence and dignity, for the glory of God and the sanctification of the people. At the Cathedral you will find that our Masses are beautifully and reverently celebrated, that we offer Masses and Confessions daily, Adoration twice weekly, that our parishioners are young and old, are from near and far, and are rich and poor. If you are new to the area or are searching for a parish we invite you to visit the cathedral to see the beauty of the gothic architecture, the richness of the traditional celebration of the Mass and the faith of our parishioners.
