St. James has been in active ministry to the Huntingdon Community since 1795. We believe, teach, and confess that Jesus Christ, only son of God, was indeed crucified and resurrected for the salvation of us all. Under pastoral guidance, the ministry and mission of the Church is carried out by all of the members of St. James, subscribing to the belief in the priest hood of all believers. St. James is a member of the Allegheny Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
