History

The Businesses of Rush formed the Rush Business Assicoation in 1982 for the purpose of working together to form a better community.

Rush Hometown Days was started to bring Rush residents together for a town event and to help familiarize people with local businesses. It was a annual event, every first weekend in June and ran from 1983-1999.

Rush Phone Directory started in 1983 and is still published every 2 years. The directory is sent out free to every Rush mailing address. Extra copies are available for $3.00 at Chase's Greenhouse, Joelle's Hair Design and The Rush Town Hall.

RBA purchased the original Welcome to Rush signs that were put up as you entered the Village in the early 1990's. These were just replaced by the town this past year with grant money.
