Mission:

Robinette Farms seeks to sustainably produce a diversity of high quality farm goods for sale locally. We strive to build a profitable business that minimizes off-farm inputs, reduces our detrimental impact on the environment, and educates our community about the food we eat and enjoy. Through hard work and managed, sustainable growth, we intend to create a farm that supports our family and community for generations to come.

About Us:

At Robinette Farms, our passion is to provide the most nutritious food we can to our community.  We have a big picture view of how we connect to the land, our community, and our planet.  With that in mind, we strive to educate folks about food, farming and our ecosystems.

All of our produce and meat is distributed within 20 miles of our farm.  For as much of the season as possible, we feed our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) members, our customers at the Old Cheney Road Farmers' Market, our local restaurants, and our friends in need of healthy vegetables at The

In the fall of 2010 we moved to our current location in Martell, 15 minutes southwest of downtown Lincoln.  Our land is currently not certifiably organic, but we can assure you that our growing practices are entirely organic. We believe that we cannot sustainably grow the highest quality produce for your family and ours without caring for the land and water that our farm is based on.

In the summer of 2013 we were able to buy the farm! Read more here about how our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program had an impact on our ability to secure loans for this purchase. The farm consists of a total of 113 acres of cropland, woodland, ponds, pasture and the farmstead. We grow vegetables intensively on about 5 acres and incorporate animals into our farm operation by raising a flock of laying hens, custom grazed cattle and honeybees.
