About Us:

The Rio Linda Lions Club is a great group who come together for the community. Some of the efforts we put our energy toward include:

3rd Grade Reading Challenge - we give away 9 Kindle Fires to each of the Rio Linda 3rd Grade Classes. Each child that reads a book at their reading level and gets over 80% on their Accelerated Reader Test gets a raffle ticket for the Kindle. 

High School Scholarships - Two students that are active in community service, are planning on attending a Junior College or a Trade School, have good grades and attendance will receive a scholarship

Ruby's Baskets - We are continuing over a 60 year tradition of providing a Christmas Dinner and additional food for families in Rio Linda and Elverta.

We sponsor the Little League Parade, the Country Fair Parade and the Hauling Hooves Christmas Carol on Horseback event.
