Refuge Church (formerly named First Assembly) has been a major part of the spiritual landscape of this community for more than 60 years. Refuge Church is affiliated with the Assemblies of God, one of the largest denominations in the world seeking to flow in the full expression of the Holy Spirit.

We maintain a full-service Prayer Center, staffed to receive needs phoned in from around the world and here at home. We have 12 prayer stations at which one can sit and literally pray the heart of God around the world. The Prayer Center is the heartbeat of our church.

The church also owns and operates Manteca Christian Pre-School. They have been serving this community for over twenty-five years.
