With 125+ years of rich traditions treasured by students, alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and the community, Purdue Bands & Orchestras provides an opportunity for over 1,000 students to continue their lifelong journey with music as performers, patrons, and advocates for the arts, while pursuing a degree in any of Purdue University’s disciplines.

From world-renowned performances by over 30 different ensembles to inspiring performances by athletic bands, including the Purdue “All-American” Marching Band, Purdue Bands & Orchestras serves as the “Heartbeat of the University” by supporting a community of students, performing more than 180 events annually, inspiring Boilermaker spirit, and stewarding Purdue’s beloved icons.
