Primrose CSA offers a wide selection of fresh produce every week. The farm is a a short 10 minute drive west from downtown Madison. We are a small farm in our fifth year of operation, already we have worked to restore 1/2 acre of tall grass prairie and planted over 300 trees! There will be several farm events for you to come out to see and learn about the farm throughout the season. Fresh Sweet corn come august and juicy ripe tomatoes at the peak of hot summer days. You are welcome to come out and help out at the farm to experience it. Many opportunities to learn or just relax just minutes from downtown Madison. Our winter CSA is bringing local food options into the wintertime, lots of squash, roots and cabbage, broccoli and spinach.

The mission of our farm is to practice and promote ecological stewardship of our land while at the same time producing healthy, safe and nutritious food to be eaten by the local population. For the 2008 growing season we are expanding our operation to 7 acres of cultivated vegetables. Sign up for our CSA, we have a regular season 20 week share as well as an extended winter CSA share. We are not currently certified organic at this point but we do practice all organic techniques. We use NO synthetic chemical fertilizers or pesticides in the production of over 50 different vegetables and fruits. Our natural farming practices include intensive crop rotation, composting and cover crops for fertility and pest management.

To get there from greenway blvd go south on highpoint road (right). go about 1/4 mile then your first right is stratford ct. go to the top of the hill, house is tan with a three car garage. boxes will be ready for pickup from 4-7 pm on wednesdays.
