We affirm that the authority in heaven and on earth given to Christ compels the Church Universal to be wholly and mutually committed to the Great Commission, that Christ would be glorified by the expansion of His kingdom to the ends of the earth.

We affirm our distinctive calling of advancing reformed and covenantal church-planting movements resulting in mature churches and equipped leaders among all peoples. To this end, our preference shall be for efforts to plant churches in Europe and the Muslim world.

We desire to encourage our members in the Great Commission and affirm the relationship between our denomination, region, and Mission to the World.
Therefore, missionaries are supported, in order of preference:
a. Missionaries from Potomac Hills Presbyterian Church.
b. MTW missionaries from Potomac Presbytery.
c. Non-MTW missionaries from Potomac Presbytery.
d. MTW missionaries from the adjoining presbyteries of Chesapeake, Blue Ridge, or James River.

We affirm our calling to encourage greater participation in the global pursuit of the Great Commission by regular participation (yearly or every other year) in short-term, family mission trips; such as those organized each summer of MTW. These trips are to serve as 'vision trips' designed to give participants awareness and enthusiasm for the global proclamation of the gospel
We desire to keep our hearts open to global mission efforts, particularly those efforts that we are supporting financially, and so strive to devote Sunday School and a shared time of worship with two or more missionaries per year.
