Come to Plowshare Produce - or to a central location in State College or Huntingdon - once a week from May through November to fill your bag with the best of the day's harvest.

Our farm share provides a family with vegetables for 24 weeks, and it includes a newsletter that offers recipes and tips for creating nutritious, delicious meals from your weekly box. A half share offers the option of picking up a box every other week.

You can pick up your share at the farm on Tuesdays or Fridays from 3:30-6:30 p.m. In State College, pick up your share at University Mennonite Church (1606 Norma St.) on Tuesdays from 4:30-6:30 p.m. And in Huntingdon, you'll find your share at the Standing Stone Coffee Company (1231 Mifflin St.) on Fridays from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

Plowshare Produce is a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farm located in McAlevy's Fort, "The Heart of Stone Valley." After years of work on other farms, Micah and Bethany Spicher Schonberg are grateful for two acres on Bethany's parents' land, where her great-grandfather farmed with horses in the 1940's.

At Plowshare Produce, we are committed to being good neighbors in our community and careful stewards of the land. With the help of our draft ponies, Polly and Sadie, we grow healthy, tasty vegetables without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. Our gardens and greenhouses are certified by Pennyslvania Certified Organic.

We invite you to become a Plowshare Produce shareholder by signing up for a weekly bag of fresh, local vegetables from the last week of May through the first week of November, or by joining our weekly Pick List to custom-order your veggies.
