Our Pleasant Hill Christian Church history dates back to 1868 in Montgomery County, Illinois. Relocated to it's present grounds when I-55 was built, it's foundation in Christ is evident as is it's love for the community it serves. The church's stated purpose is: To glorify God and to make disciples of Jesus Christ by caring for you, your family, our community and world.

For more than 135 years Pleasant Hill has been reaching and caring for those around us. We pray that through all our actions, we can continue to glorify God who has so richly blessed us.

In recent years the Lord has blessed us with tremendous growth. Expansion of the physical building was warranted in 2000 by the increased attendance at our worship. We give God praise for the people He has brought to Pleasant Hill to join our church family. Our facility, built with a large amount of talented volunteers from our congregation, stands as a testimony for our desire to reach more lives for Christ.
