We the Plattville United Methodist Church, a Christ centered household of faith, with a sustaining tradition as United Methodists, believed from the very beginning that each of us is called to participate in the outreaching ministry in Jesus Christ.

We believe each of us, in the pew and in the pulpit, is indeed a minister of God's redeeming love.
We believe that giving is an act of worship. We believe that giving is our own way of saying, "Thank you, God for the most generous gift of all, our Lord Jesus Christ."

To this end we covenant to:
Gather to fellowship and worship God.
Become educated in the Christian truths rooted in the Biblical witness of our faith.
Reach out to those who are in need of the fellowship of the church.
Reach out to one another in forgiving love.
Reach out to the larger church and community.
