The Platteville Area Chamber of Commerce serves its members and the community by actively supporting and promoting business development and by leading efforts to improve and promote the welfare and prosperity in the Platteville area 

Vision Statement 

The Platteville Area Chamber of Commerce is a dynamic, highly visible community leader, effective in bringing together the business community for the benefit of all. 

By developing new opportunities for business education and growth and by vigorously pursuing the development of tourism in Platteville, the Chamber of Commerce has achieved the full support of the community and unprecedented membership growth. 

The organization's annual revenues from membership investments, from tourism, and from its other activities enable the Chamber to continue reinvesting in Platteville in the form of programs, services, and activities that are responsive to member and community needs. 

The Chamber's board of directors, staff committees and volunteers work together synergistically to achieve the organization's goals, and ultimately its mission, thereby strengthening the entire community.
