The Olde Town Historic District was established October 2001 with City and State approval. It includes approximately 100 dwellings and seven churches.

The Olde Town Historic Neighborhood (Association) was established to support this District by:

• promoting revitalization
• encouraging historic preservation
• building neighborhood pride
• educating residents, property owners and the community

• Historic Markers for Olde Town Churches
• 1867 era Base Ball Club
• Continued Neighborhood preservation and revitalization
