Our Mission:
Old Cutler Presbyterian Church exists to glorify God through God-centered worship and Biblically based education in order to serve one another and the communities in which we live.
Our Purpose:
Old Cutler is a church that exists for 3 things: to enjoy God, to serve people, and to live grace.
We know that Worship is the first thing. We were created to worship and understand that there is no greater joy than to live in God's presence both through a life of individual devotion and corporately through worship with the Community of Christ.
Old Cutler has chosen to be a Servant Church that uses its gifts and resources to minister in the Miami community.
The Bible calls the church to be a community that dispenses the Grace it has received: to forgive one another's sins, to bear one another's burdens, to pray for one another and to speak the truth in love with one another.
Knowing that our imperfections are not obstacles to God's love we are liberated to minister Innovatively and Creatively in Vision and Boldness. As Christ gave Himself, we live Grace by giving ourselves and, as a church, pour ourselves out into this city and the world in His Name.
Our Core Values:
We believe and embrace the Gospel of Jesus Christ as the only true hope for the healing of individuals, Greater Miami and the rest of the World.
We believe that every Believer has been called and gifted to minister in the Name of Jesus Christ to one another and to his or her world.
We believe that Christ's call is for the Church to be "salt and light" to the world and through Christ to share in His work of making all things new.
We believe that Christ's call for the Church, to "make disciples", can only be fulfilled through the multiplication of churches throughout Miami and the World, through the ministry of the Gospel in Word and Deed, and through a love for Greater Miami and the Cultures, Colors, Languages and Peoples of our City.
We believe that the Church is called to exist as the Community of God and to demonstrate to the world that the Kingdom of God has come and is ours in Jesus Christ as it will one day be in Heaven.
We believe that the true Church of Jesus Christ embraces the Gospel and is called to minister in unity and love as one Church regardless of denomination.
