Mission
The mission statement of the Ohoopee Regional Council for the Arts (ORCA) as stated in the by-laws is “to serve as a rural art organization devoted to the promotion and appreciation of various art forms in relation to the needs and desires of the diverse population of the community. The provision of art activities will be done in a spirit of cooperation with local existing arts organizations in order to best utilize the resources of the community.”
The Arts do improve the quality of life in Toombs County... Through opportunity and experience, the arts encourage personal growth for all citizens, especially our youth. The arts provide commerce for our local economy. The arts are important to local recruitment efforts for industry, business, and the medical community.
