Northeastern Women of Today


Members of the Northeastern Women of Today invite you to join this national civic organization. The goals of Women of Today are threefold: to promote community service and involvement; to provide personal growth opportunities; and to offer leadership training to our members. The individual who wishes to reach out and share her talents will find that Women of Today offer tremendous rewards and satisfaction.

The Women of Today have served this community by sponsoring the Santa Comes to Northeastern Pancake Breakfast; Community Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony; Christmas Baskets; First Day of Spring Project for Shut-Ins; and NHS Senior Scholarship & Perfect Attendance. They have participated in many Fundraisers for the Make-a-Wish Foundation, MS, POAC, Breast Cancer Awareness, Children's Miracle Network and provide donations to many local organization such as, Helping Hand for the Homeless; York Rescue Mission; Northeastern Clothing Bank; Access York; Bell Socialization; the Lehman Center; and the Community Easter Egg Hunt.

The Women of Today also provide numerous family activities such as, Mother/Daughter Banquets; Ghost Tours; Hayrides; and Girl Scout Teas.

Personal Growth Training is provided by the national organization's many programs such as, TeamBuilding; Effective Speaking; Effective Listening; Effective Writing; and Leadership courses.

Membership meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Mt Wolf Borough Building, 345 Chestnut Street, Mt Wolf, PA.

Annual Dues are $20.00 per year. This provides membership in the Northeastern Women of Today, the Pennsylvania Women of Today and the United States Women of Today.
