The History of Navajo Pine High School

Long ago, back in the late 1900s, a small school was built in a small town on the Navajo Reservation called Navajo, New Mexico. The school that was built is called Navajo Pine High School, which is home of the fighting warriors.

The school was built in the mid 80s and is part of the Gallup McKinley County Schools District. Construction on the school began in mid 80s and the the first graduating class was the class of 1986.

There are only a few staff members who are part of the original staff of Navajo Pine. These staff members include: Mr. Gilbert Sage, Ms. La Vale Footracer, and Mr. John Covington. These staff members are known as the "Ancient Ones of Navajo Pine."
