The Monroe Parks and Recreation department is committed to providing the best possible recreational facilities and programs for the citizens and visitors to the city of Monroe. The department is responsible for the operation of the City's parks and recreation centers, the Monroe Aquatics and Fitness Center, and the Monroe Country Club consisting of an 18 hole golf course, driving range, and club house facilities. In addition, the department oversees City landscaping and maintains City property.
