Miamitown Elementary has just been named as an "Ohio School of Promise" by the State of Ohio Department of Education. This recognition has been awarded to the school based on excellent achievement results on the Ohio Achievement tests.

Miamitown Elementary serves students Kindergarten through Sixth grade. The school houses a Hamilton County Head Start program and two MRDD Satellite classrooms. The Miamitown teaching staff focuses on preparing students to meet state Content Standards in Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies. Students are also given opportunities to work with specialized teachers for Art, Music, Physical Education, Band and Library.
