About Us:
The Metcalfe County School District is comprised of five primary and secondary schools: three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school.  The district currently educates more than 1700 students with employment reaching nearly 300.  In addition to the five primary and secondary establishments, Metcalfe County also offers education through programs such as Adult Education, Community Education, Migrant Education, and the new Metcalfe Academy High School.

Our goal is for all students and staff to have an exciting and eventful second semester.  Even though the air is cold outside, our buildings provide not only a warm physical facility, but we hope a warm and nurturing environment as well. Let's all work together to make 2018 the best it can be and the best we can be!

Our motto at Metcalfe County Schools is "On The Move and Improving Lives."  It is the desire of the educators in our schools to make educating students our first priority.
