For more than 20 years, McPherson was home to the annual McPherson Scottish Festival featuring Highland games, Celtic music, dance and food.

In 2016, festival organizers broadened the event to include all nationalities and renamed the event McPherson Festival of Cultures.

Enhancements celebrate the community’s diverse ethnic heritage and encourage festival attendance by both locals and visitors.

The Highland games and pipe band events continue to entertain the crowds while a full slate of live music, demonstrations, market booths and food vendors embrace the world.
