Our Mission

Maywood Baptist Church believes full life is found by following Jesus. In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus told His followers to go and help others have this new life. We believe Jesus is calling us to do just that here in Western Independence.

We love Western Independence. This area faces major problems, but it is our home. Robbie Davis, one of our own, summed it up well:

“The Church is like a hospital, it is meant to heal broken people.”

Our church is full of broken lives that are being made whole by God. Whatever your past, come and see what God is doing at Maywood.
