Statement of Faith:

We believe the Bible to be the only source of reliable doctrine and advice for living. Not only does it contain the Word of God it is the Word of God, as contained in the original Greek and Hebrew manuscripts from which our English Bible was translated. For sake of unity, we find acceptable the KJV, NKJ, ASV, RSV and NIV. Other translations and paraphrases are considered acceptable for clarifying certain passages of the Word.

We believe in the Lordship of Jesus Christ, the Ownership of God the Father, and the Communion of the Holy Spirit; this trinity of personalities forms the One God who is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent.

We believe in the Church as being born on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2) and consisting of all born again believers without respect to denominational ties. Membership is obtained by being Born Again through grace and by the Spirit of God, becoming a new creation in Jesus Christ. It is open to Jew and Gentile alike and is the beginning of our journey into eternity!

We believe in Salvation through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and His shed blood.. This was obtained by His sacrifice on the Cross, His death and His resurrection.

We believe in empowerment through the gift of the Holy Spirit and the gifting of the Holy Spirit.

We believe in water baptism by immersion as the symbolic sealing of our experience of salvation (Romans 6).

We believe the Holy Communion, as commanded by our Lord, to be symbolic; the bread being the body of Christ and the wine His blood.

We believe in divine healing as provided in the atonement (Isaiah 53; Matthew 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24) and that we can appropriate healing by faith from a variety of sources including the anointing with oil and prayer (James 5); the laying on of hands (Mark 16) and spiritual gifting including miracles (1 Corinthians 12). We also believe God has placed doctors on earth to aid in the healing of man and should be utilized when necessary.

We believe in the Second Coming of Jesus as being imminent and at a time known only to God the Father. It will occur before a great and devastating tribulation period in which the Holy Spirit shall be removed and the wrath of God shall be poured out upon those remaining from the Rapture of the Church at the time the great tribulation begins. The Church will be brought before the Lord Jesus Christ for judgement of their works. God's Word will be the measure.

We believe in Heaven and Hell as being real places for real people. The requirements for entering Heaven have been made clear by the Word of God. God our Father is not willing that any should perish (in being delivered into Hell) but that all should come to repentance through the acceptance of Jesus Christ and by becoming conformed to His image.
