Mapleton School District #32 school is located in the town of Mapleton, Oregon serving approximately 196 students combined from the communities of Deadwood, Swisshome, and Mapleton in grades K-12. We have one high school (grades 9-12), one middle school (grades 7-8), and one elementary school (grades K-6). All schools and athletic fields are located on a single campus.

The Mapleton School District and the Oregon Department of Education has recognized the Mapleton Elementary School as a High Performance Learning Community. It is one of five high performance learning communities in Oregon. This honor qualified this district for participation in a $6.5 million federal grant wherein Mapleton shared its educational excellence with other districts.
